A young organisation born from the need to give voice and tools to Italian professional skippers.
Origins
AIS was born from the meeting of skippers and boating operators who shared the same need: to bring together in a single place the services, protections and opportunities of the profession, until then fragmented.
Growth
In a short time the Association built a network of regional coordinators, launched the first courses towards the professional qualification and signed partnerships for members, reaching hundreds of skippers in the register.
Today
AIS continues its journey with the first national Convention, new partnerships and a constant dialogue on the regulatory developments of the sector.
