The Statute defines the nature, aims and operating rules of the Italian Skippers Association.
Nature and aims
AIS is a non-profit association working to protect and promote the professional figure of the recreational skipper. It pursues aims of representation, training and support for its members.
Members
Skippers and nautical-sector professionals who share its aims may join AIS. Membership is granted upon application and payment of the annual membership fee.
Governing bodies
The Association is organised into a Members Assembly, a Board of Directors and regional coordinators, in accordance with the full Statute, available on request from the secretariat.
